SoFLO Girls CLUB Teams

2023-24 SEASON AUG-JUNE (if team goes to AAU Nationals)

Program Description: Teams may opt to participate in the tournament events listed on the tentative tournament schedule.  Some tournaments require overnight in-state travel stay within Florida.  Events may include organized scrimmages and/or 1-3 day events. Players may practice 3-4 times per week including playing days of which one practice may be in the sand. Team training begins in the month of August.

Team Level: This program is for intermediate level athletes.  Club Division plays in 1-3 day tournament events based on the tentative schedule.  Travel may be required out of Broward County to participate in competition events.

Locations: Practices may take place at the following locations: (subject to change)

Soref JCC-City of Plantation (Indoor courts)

Soref JCC-City of Plantation (Sand courts)

South Plantation High School-City of Plantation

Sadkin Center Gymnasium – City of Lauderhill

 Requirements: Must be Registered with SoFLO Volleyball Academy.  Current AAU Membership through 2024. Please go to www.aauvolleyball.org to complete your AAU Membership.  Make sure to associate player with SoFLO Volleyball Academy (code: TBA).  Additionally a USAV membership may be required for all girls teams that play in USAV events.

Tryouts will require registration. Check out the club info for Season 2023-24 through the corresponding tabs.  Every season is a new year, new team, new athlete, new situation, new challenges, new improvements, new standards and even a new coach.  Those that stick with the process, commit to their training regime, prepare mentally and physically, bring a positive, humble, coachable attitude every day will succeed on any team in any situation.
